Just after hosting this year’s Custard with a Cop, Whit’s announced their timeline for moving to a new location.

Good news for Whit’s fans! The popular frozen custard shop is staying in Davidson. The last day in its current location will be June 29. After that the shop will be closed through July 4, then re-opening July 5 in their new location, 130 Harbour Place, suite 170. The new location, which is in the former Subway space, will have more seating, indoor and outdoor, and women’s and men’s restrooms.

Annsley Ehret, owner and manager of the Davidson Whit’s since its opening August 2015, expressed her gratitude to Whit’s customers for their loyalty and help in finding a new location. “Their support has been heartwarming and offers perspective on Davidson’s close-knit community. We hope people will follow us.” So, if you enjoy frozen custard, Whit’s decision to stay in Davidson is good news. Stop by from noon – 10 p.m., 7 days/week.
