Troop 58 Goes on a Wet and Wild Adventure
The Boy Scouts in Davidson’s Troop 58 splashed their way down the Nantahala River with the Nantahala Outdoor Center on August 26. Some of the older scouts took on some Class 4 rapids at The Ocoee river with Wild Water Outdoors. They capped the day of excitement with campfire stories and food cooked by the Scouts at the Smokemont campground. The next morning there was the smell of pancakes, bacon, and all sorts of breakfast food in the air. They then packed up all of their gear and had a chapel service before heading home to Davidson.
