Davidson Community Players Presents First-Ever Halloween Play Festival

DAVIDSON, NC – Davidson Community Players is gearing up for Boo’s and Brews, a Halloween play festival that will be held in collaboration with the Warehouse Performing Arts Center in Cornelius on October 26-28 at 8:00 p.m. Boo’s and Brews will feature nine original, 10-minute-plays written by community playwrights. These plays all have one major theme in common—ghoulish fun!

This event marks the inaugural performance at the DCP Actor’s Lab in Cornelius, located at 27000 N. Main Street in Cornelius.

The creative team working to bring this event together includes Marla Brown, Della Freedman, Jim Esposito, Sylvia Schnople, Stuart Jonap, and Debra Allebach. The festival features mature themes and is appropriate for ages 16 and older. A selection of beer will be available for purchase at each performance provided, by local beer favorite, Ass Clown Brewing Company.

Davidson Community Players is a non-profit organization established in 1965 to produce theatre that entertains, enriches, and encourages community participation in the dramatic arts. They have served the Lake Norman region for over fifty years with high quality and award winning entertainment.
