DAVIDSON, N.C. – On Saturday, November 25, the Davidson Fire Department will partner with the Mt. Mourne Fire Department for a joint training exercise. They will conduct a training burn on an existing structure at 20046 Shearer Road in Davidson. The training will begin at 8:00 a.m. and continue until approximately 12:00 p.m.

During this time citizens may notice columns of heavy smoke in the air. Citizens with any questions regarding this training may contact Deputy Fire Chief Will Keller at 704-685-1718 or [email protected].

“This house was donated to the Davidson Fire Department specifically for training purposes,” said Deputy Chief Joel Cherry. “Reports are calling for low ozone all day, so there should be little health risk to our citizens.”
