Christmas in Davidson, 2017
Now that the Thanksgiving turkey has been given its proper due, it is time to make plans to visit Christmas in Davidson, an annual tradition since 1988. It offers three nights of holiday music, carriage rides, visits with Santa, shopping, and food, as well as many unique events all along Main Street and South Main.
This year’s dates are the evenings of Thursday, November 30 through Saturday, December 2, from 6:00-9:00 p.m. On Saturday, add in the North Mecklenburg Christmas Parade at 1:30 p.m. The parade begins on North Main Street in Davidson and continues to Cornelius, ending at the corner of Main and Catawba Streets.
Because so many people attend, over 20,000 visited during last year’s three days, it is important to know where to find parking. All the official parking lots are served by a trolley that takes you directly to Main Street or South Main Street.
The Event Guide gives a complete listing of all the events during the three festive days.
