Live Healthy Carolinas, along with Davidson Parks and Rec, is presenting a program, DIABETES UNDONE, that will explore the causes and ways to prevent Type II Diabetes.

By the year 2020, fully 50 percent of all Americans (Children and Adults) will be either Pre-Diabetic or Diabetic at a cost of over $500 billion in direct medical costs to our country every year. We will answer important questions, such as: Is Type II Diabetes Hereditary? Is Type II Diabetes Preventable and Reversible? Is ALZHEIMER’S DISEASE Type III Diabetes?

Join us for this vital program, beginning April 12th. Registration is required, and you can register at the town website or at Live Healthy Carolinas. There will be eight sessions, each lasting from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. on successive Thursday nights.

Live Healthy Carolinas is a 501(c)3 non-profit in Davidson and is partnering with the the Town of Davidson Parks and Rec to present this vital health initiative to our community.
