Atlantic 10 Pairings Announced for 2018-19 Men’s Basketball Season

The Davidson Wildcats men’s basketball team following their upset win over Rhode Island in their final home game of the 2017-2018 season.

 

NEWPORT NEWS, Va. – The Atlantic 10 Conference on Wednesday announced the 2018-19 men’s basketball schedule pairings. For the fifth consecutive season, the 14 members will play an 18-game conference slate.

There will be 126 conference games, which will allow teams to face each league opponent once and five teams twice. The Atlantic 10 is coming off a season in which Davidson, Rhode Island and St. Bonaventure all earned NCAA Tournament bids. It was the 11th consecutive year and 33rd overall that the A-10 earned at least three bids into the Big Dance.

The Wildcats, who captured the 2018 Atlantic 10 Tournament Championship, will play home/home series with Fordham, Rhode Island, Richmond, St. Bonaventure and Saint Joseph’s.

In addition, Davidson, which has won 45 league games in its first four seasons, will host Dayton, Duquesne, George Washington and VCU, while also traveling to George Mason, La Salle, Massachusetts and Saint Louis.

The 2019 Atlantic 10 Men’s Basketball Championship will be played March 6-10, 2019 at The Barclays Center in Brooklyn, N.Y.

The complete 2018-19 conference schedule with dates and times as well as national television information will be released later in the year.
