Ready, Set, Fourth of July in Davidson & Surrounding Communities

Fourth of July Parade
5:15 pm – 6:00 pm
McEver Field to Town Green
Put on your walking shoes. Dress in Independence Day attire and to decorate their wagons, bicycles, tricycles, and pets in red, white, and blue. A color guard comprised of members of the police and fire departments will lead the parade up South Street onto Main Street and the town green.
Concert on the Green – The RadioJacks
6:00 pm – 8:00 pm
Town Green
The concert begins at 6:00 p.m. and features RadioJacks, a top 40 variety band. RadioJacks is unique in the cover band world in that they only play current radio hits. With their youthful good looks and experience in the music industry, RadioJacks projects a universal appeal to people of all demographics. Where other cover bands shy away from performing solely current hit songs because of the high level of production that they require, RadioJacks bring it to every show, large or small. RadioJacks performs songs from Katy Perry, Bruno Mars, Maroon 5, Rihanna, Justin Timberlake, and more, and will perform songs by request for your event with advance notice. So keep it current, and book the band that is sure to get everyone on their feet and dancing!

Hickory Grove community: annual parade, Hickory Grove Road at East W.T. Harris Boulevard, 10:30 a.m.
Huntersville: Birkdale Village, Wednesday; festival 10 a.m.-1 p.m.
Matthews: downtown area, Wednesday; parade at 5:30 p.m., followed by music at Stumptown Park.
Mint Hill: town hall, Tuesday; live music and festival, 7 p.m.
U.S. National Whitewater Center: Music and festival, Tuesday and Wednesday; fireworks about 9:30 p.m. each night.
Cabarrus County
Concord: Charlotte Motor Speedway, Tuesday; fireworks about 9:30 p.m., after Legends racing program.
Harrisburg: annual Fourth of July Festival through Wednesday at Harrisburg Park; Tuesday: festival, 4-10 p.m.; Wednesday: parade, 9 a.m.; festival, 4-11 p.m.; fireworks, 9:45 p.m.
Kannapolis: fireworks at Intimidators Stadium on Wednesday after Kannapolis-Hickory baseball game at 7 p.m.
Iredell County
Mooresville: Lowes YMCA, Tuesday; festival, 6 p.m.; fireworks at 9:30 p.m.
