Town Hosts Reception for New Residents on Thursday
DAVIDSON, N.C – The Town of Davidson invites all residents that moved to Davidson in July 2017 or later to a welcome reception on Thursday, September 20 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Davidson Town Hall, located at 216 S. Main Street.
New residents will be able to:
- meet our elected officials and town staff
- learn about our town government
- get information from the town and local businesses
- meet other newcomers, and
- enjoy some refreshments.
“One of the goals of our 2018-2019 Strategic Plan is to encourage participation and a sense of belonging in Davidson,” said Mayor Rusty Knox. “We think this will be a fun way to meet many of our new residents and encourage them to become engaged in our community.”
