Field Hockey to Host Shoot and Save Clinic
DAVIDSON, N.C. – Davidson head field hockey coach Ginny Turner has announced a Shoot and Save Fall Clinic for Saturday, Oct. 13 at Belk Turf Field.
The field hockey clinic is open for players from grade 8-12 looking to strengthen basic skills, shooting and game play. Players will be instructed by Davidson coaches Ginny Turner and Caitlin Walsh and members of the Wildcat team.
Registration begins at 4 p.m. with the clinic to run from 4:15 to 6:30 p.m. The one-day clinic costs $50 and all payments can be made at registration via cash or checks made payable to Davidson College Field Hockey. To register, email [email protected].
Participants must bring their own equipment including shin guards, mouth guard, stick and turf or running shoes. Goalkeepers will receive specialty technical and tactical instruction and must bring their own equipment.
All participants are encouraged to come check out the Wildcats at their home game Sunday, Oct. 14 when they host Central Michigan at 12 p.m.
