Davidson Community Players Presents Second Annual Boos & Brews Play Festival

Looking for a fun way to celebrate Halloween and support the arts? Tickets are on sale now for Boos & Brews, Davidson Community Players’ second annual Halloween Play Festival featuring eight short plays written by local community playwrights. In the spirit of the holiday, all the plays have one major theme in common—ghoulish fun.

The plays will be directed by Stuart Jonap, Jim Esposito, Melissa Bowden, Della Knowles and Sarah Farra. Audience members will choose the best play for a cash award at the end of the production.

Boos & Brews will take place on Oct. 25-27 at 8 p.m. at the DCP Actor’s Lab, 20700 N. Main St., Suite 112 in Cornelius. Tickets are general admission and cost $15 each. This festival features mature themes and is appropriate for ages 16 and older. A selection of beer from local favorite D9 Brewing Company will be available for purchase at each performance, along with wine.

Davidson Community Players is a non-profit organization established in 1965 to produce theatre that entertains, enriches and encourages community participation in the dramatic arts. They have served the Lake Norman region for over fifty years with high quality and award winning entertainment.
