World of Wonder is Hosting “Wild Rumpus with Wild Things”

by | Oct 27, 2018 | Davidson Lands Conservancy

WOW – WORLD OF WONDER is a nature discovery program for children with their families and is co-sponsored by Davidson Lands Conservancy and Woodland Discovery.

A free nature outing, “Wild Rumpus with Wild Things,” is open to the public in the Davidson and North Mecklenburg area.

It is scheduled for Saturday, November 10, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and is open to the entire family with children, ages two and older.

Bring your little “wild things,” hike through the woods, make crowns and claws, dance to “wild” music, then sail home for soup and crackers. Recognizing the benefits of outdoor play for ALL ages, WOW and Woodland are offering a nature play outing to spend time outdoors together.  Visit Woodland Discovery and spend a morning sharing a wonderful nature play experience with your children! Note: No strollers please, but children in backpacks okay.

Location and other details will be sent to those who pre-register.

Pre-registration is required. To begin the registration process, please send an email to [email protected] with the names of all the participants (parents and children), ages of the children, any allergies and a cellphone number.

Be sure you get a confirmation of registration email that includes medical and photo waiver instructions.

Registration is not available with Woodland Discovery or on the Davidson Lands Conservancy website. Be sure that you receive an email confirming your registration.

PLEASE NOTE: Registration closes at 5pm, Friday, November 9.

If you’d like to know more about WOW’s free nature programs, or if you’d be interested in leading a nature outing, email [email protected].
