DAVIDSON, NC – Just in time to get you into the holiday spirit, Davidson Community Players presents the popular production, The Best Christmas Pageant Ever, based on the best-selling young-adult book by Barbara Robinson.

In this hilarious Christmas classic, a couple struggling to put on a church Christmas pageant are faced with the challenge of casting the Herdsman kids—the most inventively awful kids in world history. This play features some favorite Christmas carols, lots of mayhem, and fun for the whole family.

With a cast of 20 local children and six adults, this show is perfect for ages six and older. The show also features two different sets of real-life siblings in the cast, making it even more of a family affair!

Performances are at the Armour Street Theatre, 307 Arnour Street, with shows on November 29-December 16. Advance tickets start at $20 for adults, $18 for seniors and $12 for students. Tickets can be purchased at the DCP website or by calling the box office at 704-892-7953.

Davidson Community Players is a non-profit organization established in 1965 to produce theatre that entertains, enriches, and encourages community participation in the dramatic arts. They have served the Lake Norman region for over fifty years with high quality and award winning entertainment. They are supported throughout the season by Arts and Science Council, The McIntosh Law Firm, Davidson Wealth Management, and Randy Marion Cadillac.
