Please join us in Davidson on November 24 for a day of shopping to support our local businesses. In addition to Holiday Open Houses and specials at most of our businesses, we are offering the chance to win a gift card bundle from the following Davidson businesses:

The Davidson Farmer’s Market, Inc. (DFM) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization based in Davidson, North Carolina. This is the 10th year of the Davidson Farmers’ Market. The Davidson Farmer’s Market is a producer-only, year-round Market featuring more than 35 farmers and local producers from within a 100-mile radius. The Market is a lively gathering place for meeting friends and for learning about food, agriculture and nutrition. Growers and producers are on hand to answer your questions, from “How was this grown?” to questions about how to prepare and preserve all types of foods. We are located next to the Davidson Town Hall between Main & Jackson Streets. Parking is available on Main Street, Town Hall Lot, Police Department Lot, and at Davidson Presbyterian Church lot at the corner of Depot & Jackson Streets.

 

Walk with a Doc

Walk With A Doc is a national program to encourage healthy regular physical activity in people of all ages, to help reverse the consequences of a sedentary lifestyle in order to improve the health and wellbeing of those who would participate. Walking for as little as 30 minutes a day can have enormous health benefits. Walking was recently recognized by the Surgeon General of the United States as one of the single most important things we can do for our health. Will you join us in making health and happiness accessible to all? Bring the whole family and the dog but just come and join your fellow citizens in improving the health of our community.

 

AmeriCarna LIVE Car Show 2018

Ingersoll-Rand Davidson Campus – 800 Beaty Street

Ray Evernham’s sixth annual AmeriCarna LIVE car show presented by Ingersoll Rand and MSC Industrial Supply Co. will be held Saturday, November 24. The show will again be open to all cars and held at Ingersoll Rand’s North American Corporate Headquarters in Davidson, NC. Gates open for car entrants at 7 a.m. and for spectators at 10 a.m. Spectator tickets are only $5 and kids under 10 are free. Spectator passes are sold day of the show only. 100% of the proceeds from AmeriCarna LIVE will be donated to the Evernham Family – Racing for a Reason Foundation and go to support the IGNITE community center in Davidson for young adults with high-functioning autism or Asperger’s Syndrome.

 

Davidson Men’s Basketball Hosts Northeastern

November 24 @ 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm

Baker Sports Complex – Davidson College Campus

The Wildcats host Northeastern at John Belk Arena. The game is scheduled to be live-streamed on ESPN+.

 

An Afternoon with Georgann Eubanks
