“The Jungle Book” to be Performed by the Davidson Community Player’s Connie Company
DCP’s The Jungle Book Opens January 25.
The first 2019 youth show of Davidson Community Players’ Connie Company, “The Jungle Book,” opens to the public next weekend and runs for two weekends through February 3.
In this action-packed adventure, precocious Mowgli grows up believing he’s a fierce member of a wolf pack. When he learns he is actually a human, he must decide whether to remain with the pack, or return to the human world in which he was born. What will he choose? And will he be trained in the Law of the Jungle in time to defeat Shere Khan, the most feared animal of all?
The Jungle Book will be performed at DCP’s Armour Street Theatre; 307 Armour Street in Davidson. The show is directed by Matt Webster. Several days have multiple performances. Please check the website for performance times. Advanced tickets are $10 each and are $12 at the door. They are also available at the DCP website or by calling the box office at 704-892-7953.
