Charlotte Water Lorimer Road Project: Update
Update Lorimer Road Project:
Charlotte Water and Propst Construction are installing a new water pipe to serve customers in Davidson. As part of this project, Lorimer Road will be closed to through traffic in phases as shown below.
Phase 1 – Almost complete.
- Phase 2 – Starting March 26th or 27th, Estimated 3 weeks.
Closed: Lorimer Road between Concord Road and Chairman Blake Lane will be closed. Parking on Lorimer Road and possibly at Village Green will be restricted during Phase 2. - Detour: Use Chairman Blake Lane.
Crews will complete temporary restoration of areas disturbed by construction. Final restoration may occur after completing the initial work in the roadway.
