DAVIDSON LANDS CONSERVANCY
World of Wonder Spring Outing for Bird, Bees, Flowers and More
On Sunday, April 28, from 2:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., join us on a nature expedition with local birder, pollinator expert and naturalist, Rob Van Epps. We’ll be walking along local trails discovering all the activities of our local wildlife. Spring migration of birds will be at its peak, so chances of seeing some nice migrants are high. Rob will bring a scope to allow fantastic views of some of those more distant birds, plus we’ll get a close-up look at butterflies, bees, and spring wildflowers. In celebration of Davidson Lands Conservancy recent publication of insect and butterfly books and Davidson’s being designated a Bee City (www.beecityusa.org), we’re looking forward to master naturalist, Rob Van Epps, leading us on this nature walk.
This outing is for children with their families. The minimum age is 4 years old. Location and other details will be sent to those who pre-register.
