Davidson Community Players to Hold Open Auditions for “A Comedy of Tenors”

Davidson Community Players announces open auditions for its July 2019 production of “A Comedy of Tenors,” a play by Ken Ludwig. The production will be directed by Tim Ross and will run for eight performances from July 18-28 at the Duke Family Performance Hall on the campus of Davidson College.

Auditions will take place on May 5 and 6 at 7 p.m. at DCP Actor’s Lab, 20700 N. Main St., Ste. 112 in Cornelius. Actors need only to attend one session.

Auditionees should bring a recent picture, a list of theatrical experience and a list of conflicts for the late May-July time frame. They should also be prepared to sing a song spontaneously, as there are some roles in this show that feature singing. All ethnicities welcome. Full rehearsals will begin in early June.

Visit our website for a complete list of available roles. For additional information regarding auditions, please contact Sylvia Schnople, DCP Artistic Director at 704 892-7953 or email her. Please see the DCP website for our casting policy. Perusal scripts are available with a $10 deposit.
