Every year, I am touched by the support that you, our bookstore family, so enthusiastically offer to our shop. When Main Street Books first opened in 1987, Barbara Freund and her partners can’t have anticipated how drastically the book industry would change over the coming decades; and yet, Main Street Books presently is not just surviving, but thriving. How lucky I am to be extending the store’s life in a community that champions shopping local.

Here’s to you, and here’s to many more Independent Bookstore Days at Main Street Books!
