Shortly after 10 p.m. on Saturday, Mooresville K9 Police Officer Jordan Harris Sheldon, 32, was shot during a routine traffic stop. He was transported from the scene, but later died from his injuries.
Services for Officer Sheldon will be held on Friday, May 10 at 11 a.m. at Calvary Church in Charlotte, located at 5801 Pineville-Matthews Road. Following the service, a procession will travel to Mooresville Police Department where the procession will disband.
Davidson residents should expect delays and road closures on Friday, between 1:00 pm and 5:00 pm related to the funeral procession.
