Main Street Books

Main Street Books and author Aimée Keeble invite readers and writers to the bookstore for a performance of poetry and prose inspired by the International Poetry Incarnation at the Royal Albert Hall hosted by Alexander Trocchi and Allen Ginsburg.

Read your original work ( for up to five minutes) among new friends and old, or stop in for a listen as Main Street Writers and friends showcase their talents.

Thursday, June 27 – Sign-ups at 7:00 PM, performance at 7:30 PM.

Main Street Writers is the bookstore’s open writing club, where writers of all ages, levels, and genres are invited to convene and dedicate 1.5 hours to honing their craft. Meetings are facilitated by writer Aimee Keeble, who has been writing short stories and poems since she was a child. Her work has been published by Scalawag, the Lighthouse Journal, Forward Poetry, Killer and a Sweet Thang, Southlight, The Dead Mule School of Southern Literature, Oh Comely, The Medusa Review, and Ink, Sweat, and Tears.
