The Davidson Farmer’s Market, Inc. (DFM) is back this week. DFM is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization based in Davidson, North Carolina. This is the 10th year of the Davidson Farmers’ Market. The Davidson Farmer’s Market is a producer-only, year-round Market featuring more than 35 farmers and local producers from within a 100-mile radius. The Market is a lively gathering place for meeting friends and for learning about food, agriculture and nutrition. Growers and producers are on hand to answer your questions, from “How was this grown?” to questions about how to prepare and preserve all types of foods. We are located next to the Davidson Town Hall between Main & Jackson Streets. Parking is available on Main Street, Town Hall Lot, Police Department Lot, and at Davidson Presbyterian Church lot at the corner of Depot & Jackson Streets.

Where’s Waldo Continues

Guess who’s back? Waldo, of course! Main Street Books and 29 Davidson merchants are hosting a month-long scavenger hunt for Waldo around Town. How does Find Waldo Local work? On July 1, 2019, Waldo-spotters began their search to find the elusive character, who is hidden in dozens of downtown businesses. Participants pick up a Find Waldo passport at Main Street Books and collect a store stamp or signature for each Waldo or Odlaw they locate. Turn in your complete passport by July 31st to be eligible for prizes.


Family Storytime

July 15 @ [2 sessions, one at 10:00 a.m. and the other at 11:00 a.m.]

Bring your family (ages birth to 5) out to enjoy stories, songs, and movement activities that support early literacy skill development and help foster a love of books and reading in your child. Registration opens 30 minutes prior to story time at 9.30am. Please check in at the desk.


Rotary Club of Davidson

The Rotary Club of Davidson meets on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd Mondays of each month (excluding federal holidays).  Noon – 1:00 pm at North Harbor Club Restaurant. Meetings last about an hour. Visitors welcome!


Strange New Worlds Book Club
