DAVIDSON, N.C. – Director of Men’s Cross Country/Track & Field Renny Waldron announced the addition of former Wildcat, Jacob Hostetler ’19, to the staff Tuesday.

Hostetler wrapped up his final competitive season at Davidson in May. He holds the school record in the indoor 200 and 400-meter, which he set at the 2019 Atlantic 10 Championship with a pair of podium finishes.

“We are thrilled to have Jacob join our staff,” said Waldron. “During his time at Davidson, Jacob embodied what we look for in a scholar-athlete. He has a tremendous work ethic and a mind for competition, and we are looking forward to him helping to lead our athletes and work towards bringing championships to Davidson.”

The Seattle, Wash., native will help out primarily with the sprint group and also assist with recruiting and operational duties.
