As we begin our third year, we thank you for your readership and support, and for making it possible for us to become a key source of news and information for Davidson and the Lake Norman area.

Since our launch in September 2017, News of Davidson has kept you informed of area news and events, introduced you to dozens of your neighbors, shared their advice and expertise, supported our fellow nonprofits, and boosted local businesses. Earlier this year, we added NewsofDavidson.photos, offering free and easy downloads from a gallery of images from our photographers.

Now, to celebrate the beginning of our third year, we are proud to extend our support with a distinctive new feature—Meet the Need—which springs directly from our commitment to local nonprofits. An online hub that connects you to these organizations, Meet the Need will provide an updated list of needs every month—and we expect our list of nonprofits to grow. Needs will vary, ranging from goods and services to volunteering to supporting coming events. To get started, go to Meet the Need on our site and click on any nonprofit name to find out what is needed and how to help.
