We remain deeply grateful for the calls we receive every day about donations. Due to COVID-19, we are unable to accept donated goods at this time. To learn more about our current food pantry needs, please email [email protected].

Thanks to wonderful community support, the Ada Jenkins Center is able to continue making good things happen for the families we serve; right now they primarily need help with mortgage/rent and utilities.

For now, our Food Pantry is operating as a drive-through service on Wednesdays from 12:30-2:30 pm, distributing food boxes from Loaves & Fishes. (To enroll, click here.) We hope to reopen the Pantry for in-person shopping in just a few weeks!

Due to COVID-19, we are unable to accept used item donations at this time. If you'd like to help with our Greatest Needs, please check out our AmazonSmile wishlist.

You can help support families in need with a gift that's comfortable for you; click here to donate online. Checks may be sent to the Ada Jenkins Center at PO Box 1842; Davidson, NC  28036.

For more information, please call 704-896-0471, ext. 102.

Thank you for caring about the families in our community!

We remain deeply grateful for the calls we receive every day about donations. Due to COVID-19, we are unable to accept non-monetary donations at this time. Right now we're serving our families primarily virtually, and what we're hearing most is they need help with mortgage/rent and utilities. (Thank goodness, CARES Act funding will assist with some of that for a few months.) And our friends at Loaves & Fishes are bringing boxes every week for our food pantry clients. Our Food Pantry is operating as a drive-through service on Wednesdays from noon-2:30 pm. To qualify, click here.

Ada Jenkins Center services look different than they did before COVID-19 – click here for the details -- and we don’t know yet exactly where volunteers will be most needed in the weeks and months ahead. Please email [email protected] if you are interested in learning about future volunteer opportunities.

We invite you to help us serve our families with a gift that's comfortable for you; click here to donate online. Checks may be sent to the Ada Jenkins Center at PO Box 1842; Davidson, NC  28036.

To feel the amazing power of community, please consider joining us for our Juneteenth celebration, Saturday, June 19 from 11:00am-2:00pm. We'll have a short program beginning at 1:00, featuring a Proclamation by Davidson Mayor Rusty Knox; a LEARN Works student sharing what freedom means to him; historic dialog presented by spoken word poet Chandra DuBose; and a keynote speech from Pastor Bobby Kerns. There will be food trucks, music and entertainment, and bounce houses and games for the kids. Plus - FREE lunch for the first 200 people to stop by our Welcome Tent!  We're looking for volunteers for the event; please click here for more information and to sign up.
