News of Davidson: Capturing Community

In fall 2017, News of Davidson began with a clear purpose, driven by love for this town and a commitment to the ties that bind us together. With a small volunteer staff, we continually look for new ways to strengthen those ties — like NewsofDavidson.photos, a library of images taken by our talented photographers and available to download absolutely free of charge.

News of Davidson has chosen to keep our site as clean and simple as possible, which includes the decision to avoid advertising as long as we can meet expenses through reader support. As we begin our third year of nonprofit service, our team has set a fundraising goal of $5,000 for 2019–20, just enough to cover our annual budget.
