Summit Coffee Co. is excited to announce that it will begin offering health coverage to all full-time employees. This change will impact all full-time employee across Summit’s family of businesses –baristas at all three cafés, plus those who work at our company HQs and roasting warehouse.

Summit believes in providing jobs and opportunities for employees to earn a living wage, and offering health benefits is a big step in that direction. In addition to healthcare, Summit provides IRA for full-time employees, and funds a company account that employees can withdraw from for educational opportunities and community service.

“This is landmark moment for Summit,” said Brian Helfrich, Summit CEO and owner. “It’s something we’ve aspired to be able to offer for years, and are budgeting for our business going forward with this as a core feature of employment. We believe in making possible that Summit can provide a living wage and career path, and offering healthcare is a big hurdle toward that intention. We’re hoping to inspire other small coffee companies to join us in this commitment to making the industry more sustainable for those working in it.”
