In fall 2017, News of Davidson began with a clear purpose, driven by love for this town and a commitment to the ties that bind us together. With a small volunteer staff, we continually look for new ways to strengthen those ties — like our up-to-date Calendar, which gives you every reason to stay busy and entertained! Check out the multiple community events in our area.

News of Davidson has chosen to keep our site as clean and simple as possible, which includes the decision to avoid advertising as long as we can meet expenses through reader support. As we begin our third year of nonprofit service, our team has set a fundraising goal of $5,000 for 2019–20, just enough to cover our annual budget.

We rely on community input for our calendar. Let us know if you have an event that we should add. We always appreciate information in text or word documents.
