Impeachment 101 – Presented by Dr. Eric Heberlig, Professor of Political Science and Public Administration at the University of North Carolina Charlotte.

Impeachment: The Constitution gives Congress the authority to impeach and remove “The President, Vice President, and all civil officers of the United States” upon a determination that such officers have engaged in treason, bribery, or other high crimes and misdemeanors. Impeachment is on many minds today with our current political situation. Dr. Heberlig will explain Impeachment as defined in the United States Constitution and how the process works in practice.
