Holidays for Hope and Housing began 19 years ago in the McConnell neighborhood as a way to celebrate the holidays, and support our neighbors who are most in need. Over 12,000 Luminarias will transform our village sidewalks into flickering paths of holiday warmth and light at 6:00 on the night of Saturday, December 14. Last year, almost 900 Davidson and Cornelius families participated in this event, helping those who are experiencing housing instability or homelessness. Participation is easy— if you live in participating neighborhood, be on the lookout for neighborhood letters, distributed by a neighborhood captain. If you want to contribute online, go to www.davidsonhousing.org/donate and complete the donation form. Thank you for your support! Warm wishes to you this holiday season.
