News of Davidson can help you meet needs in our community all year long, but especially during the holiday season. Look for the best way to support our nonprofits at our site’s special feature, Meet the Need, with specifics updated each month.

Among many agencies, E2D offers a unique service in support of area students. With donated computers from home and from work, as well as financial support, E2D makes sure that every student in Davidson and Cornelius has a computer in their home. How else can they do their homework? And become innovators?

President Pat Millen is extremely grateful to have this organization listed in Meet the Need. “We need your used computers, but financial support is just as important. Families pay for half the cost of a computer, and E2D subsidizes the balance through the generous contributions of our donors.”
