Holidays for Hope and Housing a Great Success
On December 14, neighborhoods in Davidson, Cornelius, and Mooresville were illuminated with luminaria to celebrate the 19th annual Holidays for Hope and Housing. This year, over 800 individuals donated in exchange for luminary kits, raising money for Davidson Housing Coalition’s affordable housing program, financial literacy and home-buyer education classes, emergency home repair, and homeless support services.
Davidson Housing Coalition would also like to give a huge thank-you to event sponsor Metrolina Greenhouses, as well as sponsors Total Bond Veterinary Hospital, John Marshall Custom Homes, Baybridge Management Inc., Carburritos, Wade Associates, C. DeWitt Foard & Co., People’s Bank, Fifth Third Bank, 4Imprint, and Copeland Richards for their support of this event. Along with the neighbors who place luminaria in front of their houses, these sponsors make Holidays for Hope and Housing possible.
