Davidson Community Players’ Connie Company, “Sleeping Beauty” opens to the public Friday, January 24 at 7:00 p.m. and runs for two weekends through February 2.

Once upon a time…in an enchanted kingdom, all gathered to celebrate the birth of the royal princess. Rupert Barber’s delightful adaptation brings wicked Godmothers, good Godmothers, magicians, kings, clowns – all fantastically intertwined into a delightful tale. Whimsical and fun, it’s perfect for all ages.

“Sleeping Beauty” will be performed at DCP’s Armour Street Theatre; 307 Armour Street in Davidson. The show is directed by Allie Cesena. Several days have multiple performances. Davidson Community Players is a non-profit organization established in 1965 to produce theatre that entertains, enriches, and encourages community participation in the dramatic arts. The Connie Company is DCP’s theatre for youth division.
