Please join The Temple Kol Tikvah Sisterhood at the temple, 605 South Street, Davidson, on Monday, February 24 at 6:45 p.m.

Dorene Alama from Sisterhood of Salaam Shalom will speak to our community about her Sisterhood and what it has meant to her. She will also share an overview of their 2019 trip to Germany and Poland with a group of 50 Muslim and Jewish women.

This trip, which examined the hate and extremism that gave rise to the Holocaust, was particularly significant set against the backdrop of hate surrounding “the other” today. Confronted both by historical and present-day hate, we reaffirmed our mission to stand up to hate in all its forms.
