POSTPONED: Taylor Branch, Pulitzer Prize-winning Author, Symposium on Reformed Christianity and Social Ethics

by | Mar 3, 2020 | Arts & Entertainment, Houses of Worship

UPDATE: The Symposium on Reformed Christianity and Social Ethics scheduled for this Wednesday and Thursday, March 11 and 12, will be rescheduled at a later date. The coronavirus presents us with a rapidly evolving situation, and we came to this conclusion out of an abundance of caution for the health of our participants, speakers, and students, who returned to campus from spring break yesterday.  We regret postponing this excellent program and will share the new dates for the Symposium as soon as they are set, with hope that we will be able to gather in the near term.

=============================

At 8 p.m. on Wednesday, March 11, Taylor Branch, Presbyterian elder and Pulitzer Prize-winning author of the trilogy America in the King Years, will be speaking in the sanctuary of Davidson College Presbyterian Church.

Branch’s lecture, To Redeem the Soul of America: MLK and the Audacity of Faith, is the keynote for the Symposium On Reformed Christianity And Social Ethics. The event is open to the public.
