Jewish Council of Lake Norman to Bring Author, Jack Grossman, to Statesville and Davidson

by | Mar 9, 2020

Author Jack Grossman will be visiting both Congregation Emanuel in Statesville and Temple Kol Tikvah in Davidson to talk about his book, “Child of the Forest” and the events surrounding his writing of the book, which is based on the life of Charlene Perlmutter Schiff. These visits are scheduled to coincide with Yom HaShoah or Holocaust Remembrance Day.

Grossman will be at Congregation Emanuel at 6:00 pm on Monday, April 20, 2020 and will speak after a brief Yom HaShoah program. He will speak at Temple Kol Tikvah at 7:00 pm on Thursday, April 23, 2020. At both locations, Grossman will discuss how he came to meet his inspiration for this book along with why Charlene Perlmutter’s story had to be told and must continue to be retold.Temple Kol Tikvah logo

Grossman will be selling and signing his book at both venues. There is no charge to attend either or both venues. For those who have already read this most powerful book, please come and ask questions. If you have not yet read “Child of the Forest,” prepare to hear a story unlike any you’ve heard before.
