Calling all young writers – News of Davidson wants you to write for the “Kids Create!”
UPDATE: We have our first fifteen children who presented us with their artwork. Just wonderful! Take a look: Emily; James; Charlie; Robyn; Leslie, Hayden, and Harper; Simon and Spencer; Lexi, Jacy, and Trevor; and three Davidson siblings. Their art will be sure to bring a smile to your face and a lift to your spirits!
We’re staying home. And we could all use a lift.
Many of you are finding glimmers of joy—maybe even Klieg-light delight—in the creations of your children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews, neighbors and best friends.
Share the joy and send them to News of Davidson!
We have named a new corner of our site Kids Create!, and we want to fill it with the drawings and paintings, stories and poems, photographs, sculptures, inventions, and found treasures that are occupying your children.
When you send us your family’s creations, we’d also love to know what your artist thinks about their work. If they are old enough to write about it themselves, great, but if they are on the younger side, please ask them about their creation and let us know what they say.
