Summer Camp Update – REGISTER NOW!

The Town of Davidson Parks and Recreation Department will be holding camps this summer. Our camps will be limited in the number offered and the number of kids per camp. All of our camps will follow the North Carolina Department of Human Heath Services Day Camp Guidelines (click here to review the guidelines). Please click here to visit our Park and Recreation website and find out more about our camps, including specific policies and procedures that we intend to follow to make the camp experience safe for everyone.

Wrapping Up Mental Health Month Out of the Box

We hope that you are were able to visit our Mental Health Month page throughout the month of May. We are leaving it up for a little bit longer and have added a final blog from Jaletta Desmond (President of Davidson LifeLine). Click here to read about how Davidson and some of the mental health providers are trying to help people from feeling alone in their “box”.

Watercraft Rentals are Back!

Are you tired of staying at home and walking/running the same routes? Watercraft rentals are back and a safe way to social distance and enjoy the outdoors. Come enjoy Lake Davidson on the watercraft of your choice: single or double kayak, paddle board or canoe! Meet our staff to rent your watercraft at the Nature Preserve behind Davidson Day School on Jetton Street and have fun on a self-guided paddling adventure. Watercrafts will be available on Tuesdays, Thursday and Saturdays beginning in June. Register to reserve your watercraft of choice.
