CORNELIUS, NC – The Town of Cornelius will host a virtual community conversation on social and racial equity in North Mecklenburg on Thursday, August 20, at 6:00 p.m.

Mayor Woody Washam will be joined by Davidson Mayor Rusty Knox and Huntersville Mayor John Aneralla as well as a panel of North Mecklenburg law enforcement officers and community leaders.

The panel will be moderated by Dan Houston with the Lake Norman Chamber of Commerce Diversity Council and will openly discuss inequities in our community and how all citizens can help turn the tide.

We hope this dialogue will lend itself to greater mutual understanding and promote peaceful relationships with people of all backgrounds.
