Davidson Lands Conservancy’s popular race, Run for Green, will be a virtual event this year. Race dates run from September 26 to October 10, so runners may pick their perfect running conditions,   track their progress along our course, and upload results on the RaceJoy app.

Categories remain 5k, 10k, and half marathon, but this virtual exercise offers an exciting option: Registrants can choose to challenge themselves to run either two or all three of the race distances and receive extra swag, including a special medal, in their race bags. And WDAV has created a special, upbeat playlist to inspire runners along the way.

Not only is this our 15th annual Run for Green, but this year we’ve celebrated the 20th anniversary of Davidson Lands Conservancy and the 50th anniversary of Earth Day. While it’s still not safe to gather our runners in one location just now, we are ready to celebrate these milestones with you virtually.

Davidson Lands Conservancy is a local land trust dedicated to conserving and stewarding land and to promoting a conservation ethic. DLC advances its mission with education and through programs of land conservation, trails and greenways, urban forestry, and preservation of wildlife corridors.
