Join IMEA Folk Artist of the Year 2019 Rob McHale and Charlotte Songwriter Dane Page in an actual “Live Outdoor Show.” Rob will be performing in support of his September 15th, 2020 release “40 Ford Coupe” which follows his IMEA Folk Album of the Year 2019 Album “Prophets on the Boulevard.” Hear a few of Rob’s historical songs and stories with a few love songs mixed in. http://www.robmchale.com

Dane is performing in support of his critically acclaimed album “Selma.”  Dane’s lyrics weave listeners through Greek mythology, 20th Century literature, and American history while telling stories of love, loss, happiness, and pain.

VIRTUAL Davidson Board of Commissioners’ Work Session

The mayor and commissioners meet the second Tuesday of the month for a work session at 6:00 p.m. The session is broadcast on the Town’s YouTube channel

Join us with your kids for a story time with live music! Story time is free and open to everyone. *Social distancing enforced through assigned seating.

*Masks required for participants ages 11 and up.

*Masks recommended for ages 3 and up.

*We invite you to bring scarves, spoons, and noisemakers to join the music making!

Jamie brings her ukulele and her puppet, Junior, to sing and read books. She’s basically our very own Mr. Rogers.

Main Street Books’ Well-Read Black Girl Book Club

Our Well-Read Black Girl Book Club is back! We’ll be meeting on Zoom, and our bookseller Andrea will be leading the meeting and discussion.

October’s selection is TRANSCENDENT KINGDOM by Yaa Gyasi

You must REGISTER IN ADVANCE. Participants will receive the Zoom meeting link 30 minutes before the event begins.
