Your Mom’s Bazaar to Open Saturday, October 17 in Davidson

 

 

Courtney Buckley to expand portfolio with new market at 107 N. Main Street

Your Mom’s Bazaar, a sister concept of Your Mom’s Donuts in Matthews and Charlotte, will open next Saturday, October 17, in Davidson, N.C. Located at 107 N. Main Street, Suite 100, this new space will highlight local produce and provisions in celebration of the food and farming communities in and around Charlotte.

Led by owner Courtney Buckley, the goal of this small and hyper-local market is to foster a community. Patrons can expect seasonal produce, fresh herbs, frozen goods, meats, cheeses, and other dairy offerings; as well as pantry staples such as nut butters, jams, grits, flours, and salts.

The market will feature over 25 local partners including, but not limited to, Apple Brandy Beef; Annie Mae and Ivy soaps; Windcrest Organics produce; Fairshare Farm produce; and rare, vintage mini rugs from Krazy for Rugs. In addition, as a sister concept of Your Mom’s Donuts, the well-known donuts will be available on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays and fresh-baked breads will be for sale daily.

“Davidson is the first place I called home in North Carolina and it has kept me in a trance since; there’s simply no other city like it,” said Buckley. “I am giddy to officially be joining the community as a storefront and know I could not be in better company on Main Street.”

Front of house operations will be run by general manager Courtney Spear, a Davidson resident for 13 years and current Davidson Farmers Market coordinator. In continued support of the Davidson Farmers Market, Your Mom’s Bazaar will be closed on Saturday mornings and will not open until 12:30 p.m.

Buckley continues by saying, “we want to bring a little light to what feels like a really dark time. My hope is the shop becomes a beautiful escape and celebration of the goods and good people we have in our community.”

As the Your Mom’s Bazaar team prepares to open during the COVID-19 pandemic, their priority is to create an environment that is safe and enjoyable for both guests and staff. They will be open Tuesdays through Fridays 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Saturdays and Sundays 12:30 to 6 p.m. with regular cleanings. Masks will be required upon entry and if people are feeling the least bit ill, the team asks that they please stay home.
