Since News of Davidson went live in September 2017, we have posted more than 2,000 stories and column contributions, and literally uncountable calendar events. Our stories celebrate neighbors, promote local nonprofits, events, and businesses, and share hundreds of community images.

To celebrate our three years of community news, Editors’ Choice hopes to make you smile and remind you why you may be thankful for News of Davidson. This week our sports editor Jane Campbell celebrates Thanksgiving with a story from November 2017, told by our History columnist, Jan Blodgett, about a turkey feast almost 100 years ago.
