Charlotte-Mecklenburg Library and Music at St. Albans Present a Musical Treat
The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Library and Music at St. Alban’s are cooperating in presenting a virtual musical treat, featuring three performers from the Charlotte Symphony Orchestra. The performance will be available on YouTube from December 1 through December 14. On December 14 the three performers will take part in a live Q&A session via Zoom at 11 a.m.
The musicians are Calin Lupanu, Concertmaster of the Symphony, Joseph Meyer, Assistant Concertmaster, and Monica Boboc, violinist. Meyer will perform on both violin and viola. They perform together under the rubric “Chamber Music 4 All.” The program will include compositions by Bach, Handel, Dvorak, Halvorsen, and Gardel.
Register online with a valid email address, and a link to the YouTube concert, as well as program notes, will be sent to you via email. A link to the Zoom Q&A, provided by the Davidson Library staff, will be sent between December 9 and 14. Space is limited, so register early.
