The Town of Davidson is pleased to announce the launch of the Davidson COVID Business Support Grant which the Davidson Board of Commissioners approved at their December 8 meeting. The board allocated $40,000 to support local businesses which have expenses directly related to the COVID-19 pandemic.

 Grants will be available for retail businesses located in Davidson’s commercial districts beginning on December 11, 2020, and applications and grant guidelines can be found on the town’s website at: www.townofdavidson.org//Covidbusinessgrant. Qualifying businesses can apply for up to $4,000 in grant funds to be used for COVID related items which help keep their businesses operating.

 Of the grant, Mayor Rusty Knox said, “Our businesses are a central part of our community. They have shown resilience during this pandemic but need help to operate safely this winter. We hope that this grant will provide the necessary funds to help them stay open.”
