Davidson Football Set for Seven Games in Spring 2021
ST. LOUIS – Head football coach Scott Abell, along with the Pioneer Football League, have announced the schedule for the spring of 2021.
The Wildcats will kick-off the season Saturday, Feb. 20 on the road at their lone non-conference opponent on the schedule, Elon of the CAA. The Phoenix will be a tough test out of the gates, having competed in the FCS Playoffs two of the last three years.
Davidson then heads into the six-game PFL slate beginning with Stetson at home on Mar. 13. Richardson Stadium will also host Morehead State (Mar. 27) and Dayton (Apr. 17).
The ‘Cats three road trips of the campaign take them to Marist (Mar. 20), San Diego (Apr. 3) and to PFL newcomer Presbyterian (Apr. 10).
As of right now fans will not be permitted inside Richardson Stadium, but the situation is fluid and could change in the coming months.
