This week’s DFM has been cancelled in compliance with the County Health Director’s directive. The winter market will now run through March 27.

An Angel Whispers – Online Premiere

Local film director Ben Allison releases his short film “An Angel Whispers” at 8:00 p.m. The film was shot at the Soda Shop, DCPC, and several other notable local venues. No doubt you will recognize a lot of the venues for this film.

The Town Board’s January meeting will be available on the Town’s Facebook page or YouTube channel. Public comments should be submitted before 5 p.m.

Charlotte Mecklenburg Library Presents Teen Talk: “Surfing the Waves of Anxiety & Stress: Lessons from the Beach”

Join the Davidson Branch of the Charlotte Mecklenburg Library for a special “Teen Talk” presented by Dr. John Brunelle, Ph.D., Associate Director/Clinical Director of Counseling at the Center for Student Health and Well-Being at Davidson College. Dr. Brunelle will talk to you about how to manage stress and anxiety as you navigate a difficult year of online learning and social distancing. This event will be free of charge and open to all teens ages 12-18.
