DAVIDSON, N.C. — The Davidson women’s lacrosse program is committed to taking a stand for important social issues throughout their 2021 spring season, and are dedicating this year’s campaign to fighting numerous social injustices that impact the greater Davidson community and world.

In an effort to support causes that will lead to the betterment of society, the Wildcats will work collaboratively to foster important dialogue, and further translate those conversations into action. The mission this season will be centered on education and training, advocacy and activism, and structure and accountability. Additionally, the team will seek to form partnerships and create long-lasting alliances within the community that will help to achieve the program’s goals.

Davidson College believes fundamentally in the dignity and worth of every human being. The Wildcats are committed to educating themselves and others, while taking action where necessary, and further servicing the Davidson area. The team will strive to cultivate a broadly diverse community throughout their educational and action filled mission this year.

Some of the programs the Wildcats have chosen to advocate for will be supporting front line workers, the military and veterans, small businesses, mental health in female athletes, climate change and more.
