NO Davidson Farmers Market This Weekend
There will not be a Davidson Farmers’ Market this weekend.
Hello DFM Shoppers,
As an organization, we take this directive seriously and want to do our part to help decrease and minimize the spread of COVID-19. We also want to get ahead of possible future stay-at-home orders and be prepared to continue operating as an essential market to provide food to the community. After learning many lessons in 2020 we are doing the following:
- DFM will follow the directive;
- Vendors who are offering pre-order/pick-up options or have opened their farms and farm stands during this time are listed below;
- DFM is proactively planning for potential stay-at-home orders and will convert DFM markets into a pick-up/drive-thru only market IF and ONLY IF a stay-at-home mandate is issued making sure that DFM stays open with no disruption in our scheduled season;
Know that we take closing the market seriously. But, given the circumstances and positioning ourselves to be better prepared to ensure everyone’s safety and health when we reopen on February 6, we know this option is the best to maintain everyone’s safety and provide our community access to fresh and local food.
Below is the list of vendors offering pre-order/pick-ups and at farm shopping this week. DFM will return Saturday, February 6. In the meantime, if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us. Remaining dates for DFM’s Winter Market are updated below in the newsletter.
