Charlotte Regional Transportation Planning Organization Seeks Public Input

by | Apr 12, 2021

The Charlotte Regional Transportation Planning Organization (CRTPO) is seeking public input for its update to the 2050 Metropolitan Transportation Plan (MTP). CRTPO is the federally-designated metropolitan planning organization (MPO) for the Charlotte Urbanized Area, which includes Iredell and Mecklenburg Counties as well as the urbanized portion of Union County. Davidson residents are invited to provide feedback about the region’s long-range transportation needs and issues affecting the Charlotte Urbanized Area into the year 2050 and beyond.

During Phase I (data collection), respondents had the opportunity to offer feedback regarding how they use the transportation corridor.  Phase II included an analysis of that data, and now, during Phase III, CRTPO is asking participants to weigh in on transportation solutions and funding. To participate in the survey, click here.

CRTPO and the Beyond 77 team will be host two virtual public meetings during Phase III to review the collected data and share information with respect to the remainder of the study:

  • April 21, 12:00-1:00 p.m.
  • May 13, 12:00-1:00 p.m.

Davidson residents can register for one of the public meetings by filling out the online RSVP form.

For more information about the 2050 MTP and CRTPO, visit 2050mtp.org and crtpo.org. In addition, a toll-free hotline, 800-777-8961, offers instructions in ten languages to allow callers to leave a message with their feedback.
